Get a laywer. My mom wound up in the hospital for 2 months after a wreck. (Her friend was driving the car, mom was a passenger, and it was the friends fault) The insurance co decided they weren't going to pay a thing. We had to get a laywer and sue our friends to get their company to pay. It was a mess, but look into a laywer anyways. Most will do a free consultation.
You need to stress that you are a single mom and the only provider for your son. Turn in ever dime you lose due to the accident. hrs at work, cost of medical and rehab, cost of gas getting to and from, cost of child care so you can go to rehab.
