Coat d'Arms - for WH

I play Warhammer Fantasy Battles - yea, that tabletop thing w/ the little men (or creatures). I have played since... 1999 the army of Bretonnia - aka the Anglo-French army of Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table.

Haven't played much lately, due to RL association w/ my ex (we got into it together), as well as time constraints.

However, the bug is biting again.

My Coat of Arms for my army was based on combining the RW CoA of myself & hubby (per RW rules), with additions made to allow for game-specific stuff.

Well, the ex is gone; and the board w/ the file & person who'd done the combining (called impaling) also gone.

Found a nice chap on the current board (The Round Table of Bretonnia) the old WH board (Earl Cadfael's Bretonnian Realm) merged with.

Azure field = "female", and keep peasants from rioting due to buying new clothes (my army was Black & Azure Blue)
Charges (Lioness & Arm w/ Axe) = RW family CoA
Cross @ bottom = WH
Unicorns = female holder
White Bars @ top of field = 1st born (WH, as RW didn't allow fb females to hold arms)
Thistle on Helm = RW - family is Scottish
Motto = paternal birth-family's motto. The other RW portions are from our surname, which is that of my dad's stepfather. He didn't reunite w/ his birth-dad until well into adulthood. But I met the man, and he was wonderful. They were close by the time G-dad died in 2002.

I'll try to post pics of my army at some point.
