Had a break-in

Was debating about posting this to my LJ, but not doing so seems to make LJ sorta moot.

Many thanks & hugs to armitige3   and furrball  , for hugs & letting me crash when I didn't want to go back home right away.

I've considered moving up off the ground floor - but honestly, other than some whack-job getting in, I've had no problems, nor heard of anything in the 18mo (damn - it's been that long?) since I moved in. And other than potential security issues (and I've heard of upper apts -not my complex tho - that can be broken into, it's just not common), it's more hassle than it seems to be worth. I only have 1 asshole neighbor to deal w/ right now - I move up anywhere, I will have 3 - above, below & next. And given that I can *only* move w/in my bldg cuz of income restrictions, and I see what my current fellow-bldg peeps are like - no thanks... several are rude, & I can't stand them as is.

As of this AM, still no mention of anything by the apt mgmt. Altho they now have posted that it's time for the (2x/yr) filter change. What's really kinda funny interesting is that they say to remove furniture from in front of the door, and that they will be entering the units.... which furniture - cuz the 3 neighbors I'm chummy w/ (2 sngl moms, and a married couple) all have furniture in front of the inner door, just like I did & do....
