Though to this day, it's largely to vent & read TF & TMNT fics.

I have a MySpace & (i think) Facebook page, but those are solely so I can read movie-stars/movie-sites.

I may see if I can leave work early, and take my son to see Disney's "Earth". Otherwise, nothing much - we already recycle at home, I explain about energy & water wasting, and as a Wiccan I explain to him about the cycles of life & nature.

Hmmm-it's a tie for me, as I've taken very few true vacations in my life as my parents were financially strapped other than an annual trip to my grandparents in FL (one yr they'd come up, the next we'd go down for a week or two.)

So, it's a tie between the 1 trip to DisneyWorld, which I sadly barely remember now (25 yrs later) but recall enjoying, and my trip in 2006 to DragonCon w/ L, A&M & Kel. I was with fellow SF/fan geeks, could stay up & out as late as I wanted, and met my Georgia Gent who as remained a good friend.

Perhaps someday in the not too-distant future, I will be able to take both a adult vacation (perhaps this year's BotCon will count as extra-memorable for me, with meeting Net-friends, and hanging a/ w great bunch of local gents I've traveled to BCs with) and a vacation (at least a wkend) w/ my son. But that's dependent on the economy & my job.

If I *knew* it to be true, yes. As in, I saw him/her mackin' on someone other than their SO - in a no-way-innocent manner (grabbing butt, liplocking/tongues, necking, etc) - then yea. If there is the possibility of it being over-friendly, but possibly innocent, I would have to evaluate what I know of the friend & health of their relationship (suspicions already aroused, been having problems, etc). As well as my gut.

If I saw inappropriate behavior by same SO again, even w/ a different person - then yes, I'd give my friend a heads-up.

I wouldn't want to start shit - but I also find infidelity to be a sore/hot point for me. Very little excuse for it happening.

If it's a meeting, I quietly play chuzzle or RISK on my cell-phone.

If a class, I'd try to pull out my ever-present fun-read book.

okami = a name i picked off some anime... Robotech:Macross I think, when I first was going online, since it was an Anime-oriented board. It also became part of my magickal name, as I wanted 2 names, and I oculdn't find one I like numerologically-speaking... so for S&Gs I tried Okami... and it worked. Which is fitting since that was my friend-group name for almost 3 years, as there was another w/ my same RL name, who went by the same nicknames as well.

Myrrhibis = part of my magickal name in reference to my Patrons, Lady Isis & Lord Thoth. Her sacred incense, his sacred bird.

[Error: unknown template qotd] While having been fortunate enough to not be directly touched (wasn't overly promiscuous before), it has made me be cautious in taking that step. Especially now that I have a lovely son, for whom I am primary provider. It also makes me a bit more judgmental of those close to me, who do have a habit of sleeping around.

I was at my office in Rosslyn, VA. We supported the Air Force, both in-town & at the Pentagon. I was talking to a friend via email, when I heard the commotion in the main lobby. That was when the first plane hit. I stepped out of my office to see the first tower go down on the news-cast. Then word came as to just which section of the Pentagon had been hit. One co-worker went hysterical as her father's office was in that section. Then as people tried to make sense of the insanity that was occurring, word was received - you're dismissed, go home. But for some of us, that became a 3 hour nightmare. Public transit was closed, and the 15 minute drive to me took my ex-husband an hour to go to me, and another 2 hours home. But the smoke, uncertainly and fear that gripped the Washington-DC metro I will never forget.

To honor & remember those who lost their lives to terrorism, and those who refused to be used, I will participate in a vigil ride from Patriot Harley-Davidson in Fairfax, VA to the Pentagon this evening.
