the red-outlined text bubbles on page...4(?) - right after Sides tells Hound to secure the Space Bridge...

"They think it's about loyalty, a brothers-in-arms thing."

Well, Sunstreaker is quite the pompous, self important, arrogant jerk who thinks everyone is beneath him. Sideswipe is supposed to the be the only one he has any liking for at all, but that doesn't always translate to treating him well, either. He was less than pleasant to Sideswipe in the DW comics and apparently super self centered in the original Marvel comics. Given his sociopathic tendencies, I can see where he might have gone and overshadowed Sideswipe more than once and really, between the two, Sunstreaker is canonically the better combatant across the board. I'm not even sure that Sunstreaker cares that he was separated from Sideswipe in the first place when he was made part of Prowl's detachment. (To my recollection, I don't think he's ever mentioned Sideswipe at any point during the main IDW run.)
