Yeah - Doug is quickly becoming one of those "bit" actors that I make a point to check out (Ray Park is another, as he's always done awesome fight sequences, and choreographed others).

Did you hear that Doug & Andy Serkis are "fighting" over who gets to play Gollum & such in the new Hobbit movie? I got the impression from a recent interview w/ Doug that it's a very friendly, high-respect rivalry - they both are top in the field.

in case ya'll are going huh? Andy = Gollum in the LOTR movies & Kong in "King Kong" - both directed by Peter Jackson who is producer of Hobbit; and Doug = Abe Sapien in everything "Hellboy", and Pan in "Pan's Labyrinth" - both directed by Guillermo del Toro, director of Hobbit & its sequel.
