< (no space) lj (space) user (no space) = (no space) username (no space) > I believe... no quote marks around the username.

let's try this: <lj user=sakon76>

that works in the body - but not the subject line; least I've never gotten it to work in Subject line.

yep, have to have quotes around username. otherwise, it gives you the "bad username" error in really unfriendly bold text.
